Organ grinder

Extraordinary cdv of an organ grinder, his monkey and his flute playing partner.  These three look quite the motley crew to say the least and most certainly would have been qualified to work with Barnum himself!  The cavalier man with the top hat and the recorder certainly exhibits a lighter hearted street performer while the organ grinder fits the typical stereotype quite well.  The monkey on the leash has moved slightly and seems somewhat apprehensive of the whole photographic experiment.  This rare image is in very good condition with some spots as seen.  By P.
